The serie "A Nearly Normal Family"

In the autumn 2022, the production company Jarowskij filmed the crime drama "A Nearly Normal Family" here in Lund. The series, in six parts, is based on author Mattias Edvardsson's novel of the same name and was published on the streaming service Netflix on November 24th, 2023. It is about the Sandell family, consisting of father Adam who is a priest, mother Ulrika who is a lawyer, and their daughter Stella, and about a murder that shows how far they are prepared to go to protect each other. The series takes place in many beautiful places here in Lund and this visitor's guide shows most of the places for those who want to see them after watching the series.

The film "An Honest Life"

In the autumn 2023, the production company FLX filmed the thriller "An Honest Life" here in Lund and elsewhere. It is a film based on Joakim Zander's thriller novel of the same name, which was published on the streaming service Netflix on July 31st, 2025. The film is about Simon who comes to Lund to study law but is drawn into a criminal and anarchist group.
